Our story

Boondok started with a feeling: the kind of quiet you only notice once you've lost it.

Growing up in Anmore, nature wasn't something we planned. It was the backyard, the trails after school, the evenings outside until the streetlights came on. But somewhere along the way, getting outdoors became complicated. Between stressful days and competitive bookings, that feeling of "going outside" felt so distant.

So we built a tool to change that. Inspired by the Filipino word bundok, meaning mountain, Boondok carries the warmth of heritage, the familiarity of the phrase "the boonies," and the nostalgia of disappearing into nature for a little while. A reminder that the quiet never really left. We just stopped looking.
